Would eCopy Desktop allow us to delete a page from a secured PDF file (containing multiple pages) and distribute it as a "new" PDF file?
Nancy, thank you for your question. The answer depends on the type of security that is applied to the document.
If you encrypted a document with a User Password and do not have any other security applied to the document, you will be able to enter the User Password to open the document, and then delete pages.
If you have a document that contains an Owner Password and "Document Assembly and Editing" has been disabled, you will not be able to delete pages unless you first enter the Owner Password and enable the "Document Assembly and Editing" option.
Take a look at the attached screeshot for the document security setting options.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to email me if you have questions at twallace@ecopy.com.

I think nearly all topics have been covered except for one that might be interesting and that would be a channel discussion for ISV, and VARs to discuss topics in this line of business.
Chris - That's a good idea. Are you suggesting that we create a seperate place for a formalized discussion board? Or did you have something else in mind?

This is my 8th year and it is wonderful to see this creation and know that I, in time can add my own part to the build!
Thanks for the comment Donald. I encourage you to add any information that you feel would be good to share and certainly to pass the word on about this wiki to your dealers and customers. We're excited to see this wiki grow!!
