DocuWare — A document imaging and management software developer based in Germering, Germany near Munich. Founded in 1988, DocuWare has more than 6,000 installations worldwide. Noted primarily for its success in mid-volume applications, DocuWare sells its software through a channel of 400 value-added resellers.
In 2001, DocuWare acquired the software reseller component of its North American-based distributor ALOS Micrographics. Based in Newburgh, NY, DocuWare enjoyed success by becoming one of the first document imaging software vendors to recognize the potential of working with the copier-dealer channel.

Thomas Schneck — An executive with DocuWare since its early days, Schneck is responsible for the company’s worldwide sales and marketing. A native of Germany, he has been a primary driver behind the company’s North American business.
Greg Schloemer — The president of DocuWare Coporation (the German ISV’s American subsidiary), Schlomer joined DocuWare when the company aquired the software division of ALOS Micrographics, its North Ammerican distribution partner.
